Ciao, I’m Bryan the founder and owner of Pure Dolomites Tours. I’m originally from Dublin, Ireland and I’ve been travelling and living between Italy and Ireland since 2001, and call both places home!
Adventure, sport, and travel have always been a big part of my life. I played Irish Gaelic football, hurling and soccer in school, and athletics during my early teenage years. Following my local cycling hero Stephen Roche’s triple Giro-Tour-World 1987 success, I began competitive road cycling completing the Junior Tour of Ireland with Orwell Wheelers road cycling club, and also competed in cyclocross, mountain biking and triathlon events.
I am a keen world traveler, having to date visited 67 countries on 6 continents. Some of my adventures include a 3,500km charity cycle through Asia, and the infamous mountain bike ‘World’s Most Dangerous Road’ descent in Bolivia! I speak fluent English, medium Italian and basic Spanish.
I became a professional outdoor guide following my passion to work in the outdoors and love of meeting people from all corners of the world. I hold qualifications in mountain bike guiding (MBLA Trail Cycle Leader, MBLA Mountain Bike Leader and ACSI Accademia Nazionale Italiana di Mountain Bike) and have biked some of the best trails all over the world including Europe, North and South America, Asia, Australia and New Zealand. I also hold qualifications in mountaineer guiding (Red Cross First Aid, Wilderness First Aid and Mountain Navigation Leader) and have bagged multiple high altitude solo summits such as Aconcagua (6962m), Kilimanjaro (5895m), Mount Kenya (5199m) and Mont Blanc/Bianco (4810m).
I fell in love with the Unesco World Heritage Dolomites when I first set my eyes on them over a decade ago, and still love exploring and experiencing the magic they offer, and the friendly warm people that live here.
It is a pleasure to organise and show you around this piece of heaven on earth where you’ll enjoy a true Pure Dolomites experience!
Hi, my name is Simone and I live in Belluno, right in the heart of the Italian Dolomites.
I have been cycling my whole life since I was young, and I have participated in numerous bike races both on and off road, including XC, enduro and down hill. Some of these include the mountain bike TransAlp, Sellaronda Hero and Roc d’ Azur.
I love the Dolomite mountains where I am regularly trekking, climbing, skiing and mountain biking. I’m a mountain bike coach and cyclosportive guide associated with the Italian Cycling Federation. I also train and develop a local mountain bike team and organize mountain bike technical courses.
I speak Italian and English, and have many year’s bike guiding experience, and really love guiding and showing clients around these beautiful unique mountains.
Ciao, I’m Robert originally from North America and have been living in Italy for over a decade.
My life revolves around outdoors sports with decades of personal experiences cycling on the roads and forest areas of the Olympic Mountains, Mount Rainier and all the rolling hills in between these two areas of Washington State.
Certified by the Italian National Academy of Mountain Bikers, I am experienced in bike guiding in Italy, Hungary, Sicily, Ireland and Sardinia, and I really love to show clients around the Unesco Dolomites on two wheels, whether it be on a mountain bike or road bike, through beautiful villages and towns that line the valleys and over infamous Giro d’Italia mountain passes.
I am also multi lingual with many years of experience in Italian, Hungarian and of course English.
